Bergen Landhockey
Be part of history by joining Vestland's first and only field hockey team! Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to the sport, everyone is welcome to help build the field hockey community in Bergen. By joining us, you’ll also connect with players and teams across all of Norway.
Field hockey is a team sport under the Bandy Association, with its roots in Pakistan, England, and the Netherlands. While similar to bandy, it differs in equipment, playing surface, and game style. In the summer, we play outdoor on a grass pitch with 11 players per team (10 outfield + 1 goalkeeper). In winter, we move indoors to play fast-paced 6-a-side matches with sideboards.
Players of all skill levels are welcome. No equipment is needed to start.
As a member you join the wider Norwegian field hockey network, competing with clubs across the country.
Membership
To become a member of Bergen Landhockeyklubb, simply register here on MinIdrett and pay the 150 NOK membership fee for 12 months directly. If you are an exchange student and only stay one semester, you can chose to the option to pay a reduced price.
The training fee for all is currently 200 NOK per season (winter / summer).
If you plan to play matches, we recommend purchasing the field hockey license as well. This license provides insurance coverage in case of injury during official games.

Training
Equipment: Field hockey stick and small hard balls can be borrowed at trainings. Mouth guard, shin guard and glove are to be purchased individually.
